Welcome to the “Victims/Affected” Section
If you’ve ever been scammed, had your trust abused online, or simply found yourself involved in an online fraud, this page is for you. Here, you’ll find support and guidance to help you understand, process, and move past what happened.
Don’t feel alone! A supportive community is waiting for you, where you can share your experiences and draw strength from the stories of others. You are not alone in this situation.
From my personal experience, I know that many people choose not to talk about the fraud they’ve faced because it’s easier to remain silent than to explain what happened and why. People often judge, but that doesn’t mean you are worth less. What you went through is painful and difficult, but you must understand: it’s not your fault.
Scammers are highly skilled; they know exactly how to find your weak spots and manipulate you without your knowledge. Maybe the “too good to be true” feeling clouded your judgment, or you simply didn’t recognize the red flags. This is a common scam tactic that affects many. If you stay silent, know that they win.
Why is this page important to you?
Online fraud and scams are becoming increasingly common, causing not only financial loss but also deep emotional and mental harm. This page was created to highlight these dangers and show that there is a way out.
The stories and advice shared here will help you not only cope with what happened but also move forward stronger and more positively. Believe me, there is hope!

- Practical Advice: Useful tips and steps to take if you’ve been a victim and want to return to your daily life.
First and crucial step: Write a letter to yourself!
One of the most powerful self-reflective tools is writing a letter to your future self. This exercise helps you reinforce that there is a way forward and gives you a chance to look back in a year to see how far you’ve come. I received this advice myself and will open my letter on January 16, 2025.
Prepare yourself: it will hurt, but it will feel good afterward – have tissues ready!
How to do it?
- Take some time and write honestly about how you feel now, where you are, and what you want to achieve in the next year.
- Include encouraging words and hopeful thoughts: how will you feel when you’ve overcome this?
- Set the letter aside or keep it in a visible place, and set a reminder to read it a year from now.
Why does this technique work?
Because it helps you express your emotions, organize your thoughts, and look forward with purpose. The message to your future self will remind you that no matter how hard the present feels, there is a way out, and you can rise and move forward.
Remember: You are not alone!
