Welcome to the “Victims / Affected” Section

If you’ve ever been deceived, had your trust violated online, or have been affected by any form of online scam, this page is for you. Here, you’ll find support and guidance to help you understand, process, and move forward from what happened.

You are not alone!
A supportive community is waiting for you — a place where you can share your experiences and draw strength from the stories of others. You need to know: you are not alone in this.

From my own experience, I know that many people stay silent about what happened to them, because it’s easier to stay quiet than to try to explain what and why it happened. People often judge — but that does not mean you are worth less. What you went through was painful and difficult, but please understand: it was not your fault.

Scammers are incredibly skilled. They know exactly how to find your weak spots and manipulate you without you realizing it. Maybe the feeling of “too good to be true” clouded your judgment, or you simply missed the warning signs — the red flags. This is a common and widespread method of fraud, and it affects many people. If you stay silent, just know — they win.

Why is this page important for you?

Online scams are becoming more and more frequent — and they can cause not just financial harm, but deep emotional and mental pain too. This page was created to raise awareness about these dangers, and to show you: there is a way out.

The stories and advice shared here will help you not only cope with what happened, but also to move forward stronger and more positively. Believe me — there is a way out!

What can you expect here?

  • Personal stories: I’ll start by sharing my own story so you know you’re not alone. Later, you’ll find the experiences of others too — stories that can give you strength and inspiration.

  • A supportive community: A space where you can share your feelings and experiences and ask for help. Tell us how you moved forward, how you’re living your life now — every story matters!

  • Helpful tips: Practical information and steps you can take if you’ve become a victim and want to reclaim your daily life.

Your first and most important step: Write a letter to yourself!

This is one of the most powerful self-reflection tools — write a letter to your future self. It helps you see things more clearly, process what happened, and believe that there is a way forward. I was given this advice too, and I plan to open my own letter on January 16, 2025.

Be prepared — it might hurt, but it will also bring relief. So yes, have a tissue nearby. ❤️

How to do it:

  • Take some time, and write honestly about how you’re feeling right now, where you are in life, and what you’d like to achieve over the next year.

  • Include words of encouragement and hope: how will you feel once you’ve made it through?

  • Put the letter aside or leave it somewhere visible — and set a reminder to read it one year from now.

Why does this technique work?
Because it allows you to express your emotions, organize your thoughts, and look forward with purpose — proving to yourself that yes, you can rise again. Your message to your future self will be a reminder that no matter how hard today feels, there is hope, and you are capable of healing and moving forward.

Please remember: You are not alone!
This page was created to show you that support exists, that there is understanding, and that there is a way forward. The stories, tools, and strength of the community can help you face the online world again — with confidence.

Don’t forget: every step matters, and we’re here to support you along the way.
