Who am I, really?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I often say I\u2019m a \u201cfailed HR professional<\/em>\u201d \u2013 which is only partially true, but there\u2019s definitely something to it. Because what do you do when a profession doesn\u2019t give you what you hoped for? What you signed up for? How do you deal with the constant sense that something is missing?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s switch to third person.<\/p>\n

DORKA MAGYAR<\/strong><\/p>\n

A communications advisor and freelance marketing copywriter and strategist who believes the most important thing is to always stay open to learning something new.<\/p>\n

ALMA MATER & A LITTLE DRY (BUT RELEVANT) HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n

She graduated from the University of P\u00e9cs with degrees in History and Human Resources Organization. At her very first job \u2014 which happened to be in HR \u2014 she was immediately tasked with being the editor-in-chief of the internal company magazine. Not only did she have to come up with the concept, but she also had to write most of the content. This was even before the internet fully took over, so she was already doing branding and content creation \u2014 simultaneously.<\/p>\n

She spent nearly 20 years in various HR roles: recruitment lead, headhunter, advisor, generalist. But nine years ago, she pivoted \u2014 to devote herself entirely to communication and marketing.<\/p>\n

As a freelancer, she focuses on the SME sector \u2014 both as a marketing copywriter (website content, landing pages, newsletters, campaign copy, and social media content) and as a strategic marketing consultant.<\/p>\n

WORKSHOPS<\/strong><\/p>\n

She has led successful workshops on topics such as marketing copywriting (including its pitfalls), social media communication, email marketing, and niche writing techniques.<\/p>\n

BOOKS<\/strong><\/p>\n

She has contributed to the creation of several books \u2014 on coaching and learning methodologies \u2014 and has also edited and proofread business development publications.<\/p>\n

ESSENCE?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a copywriter, she believes in quality \u2014 and isn’t afraid to advocate for it. She loves passing on her knowledge and the experience she\u2019s gained over the years.<\/p>\n

Lifelong learning is key for her \u2014 which is probably why she\u2019s currently studying law at university. In her free time, she often finds herself learning something new yet again. She\u2019s an avid reader and a passionate theatre enthusiast.<\/p>\n

NO, THIS is the essence \ud83d\ude0a<\/strong><\/p>\n

Empathy and humor are the two indispensable ingredients of life \u2014 and no artificial intelligence has mastered them yet. She strongly believes in connection, in people, and in the importance of helping one another \u2014 both in everyday life and on a professional level.<\/p>\n

She sees everything as part of a bigger process \u2014 nothing stands entirely on its own. Nothing is truly functional in isolation.<\/p>\n

Standing up for a meaningful social cause is, inevitably, part of helping people and emphasizing empathy on a daily basis.<\/p>\n
